TVI C300 is a world-leading compact wireless surveillance streaming solution. It can be used to stream video and audio over 3G, LAN and ADSL as well as Inmarsat GAN/BGAN satellite (via the RJ45 Ethernet connector). The functionality of the C300 is also available as a PCB board without enclosure (i300) for incorporation into a range of multifunctional surveillance products. The TVI C310 features an integrated CDMA module for use in regions that utilise CDMA.

At the heart of the C300 is the TVI wireless surveillance technology, a revolutionary approach to encoding and transmitting video and audio over low or variable bandwidth networks. The TVI encoding method is based on a library of proprietary image ‘codebooks’, enabling TVI to perceive, abstract and recognise objects in an image. This makes it far more efficient at streaming content over constrained bandwidth networks than the ‘pixel-centric’ approach of conventional standards based video codecs - such as MPEG-4 and H.264 based codecs.
