IQC-2110 RF Capture and Storage

X-COM's IQC-2110 RF Capture and Storage System records and stores digital I&Q data files of signal activity captured from a signal analyzer over a bandwidth up 110 MHz for time periods up to 400 hours. It uses a signal analyzer from Agilent, Rohde & Schwarz, or Tektronix as its RF front end and downconverter, ensuring no loss of signal fidelity regardless of the RF center frequency, span, resolution bandwidth or any other parameter that defines the RF capture. Data storage is provided by Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) RAID 5 arrays with capacities of 2, 4, 8, 12, or 16 Tbytes, and two removable internal hard drives store temporary files and the Windows operating system, allowing sensitive data to be quickly removed. Data can be time-stamped with up to 510 user-defined markers when referenced to an external IRIG-B receiver and geo-tagged to GPS location data.

Captured data can be processed using X-COM's Spectro-X software in the time, frequency, and phase domains to search for and identify standards-based or arbitrary waveforms of interest and X-COM's RF Editor software can create and insert new spectra and waveforms anywhere among 10 tracks in the recording. The I&Q files can then be sent to X-COM's CPG-2110 continuous playback generator that converts them to analog form for use by a vector signal generator that modulates the carrier and recreates an RF spectrum. Many options are available for the IQC-2110 that tailor it to specific customer requirements.

Soon to be replaced by: IQC5000A Series - Spectrum Capture and Playback System.
