Company History
Butler Technologies was founded in 1997 to provide test and measurement systems and components to the telecom, data communications and electronic sectors. The expanded company purchased Transtest, a Calibration Laboratory in 2005 to provide both in-house and on site equipment repair and calibration to INAB accredited standards.
Today, the Butler Group now occupies a state of the art premises in Maynooth Business Campus. The Group has since evolved to support a number of markets including the Pharmaceutical, Bio-medical, Energy, Environmental, Security and Surveillance, with a strong local and internationally supported range of products and services.
In 2010 the Butler Group completed its first stage investment in Dublin based company, Kinesense Ltd. (www.kinesense-vca.com), an innovator in advanced video analytics technology.
The Butler Group is currently on the expansion trail and looking at a number of acquisitions and investment opportunities both in Ireland and the rest of Europe.
The Butler Group is made up of Butler Technologies and Transtest.
